Crowds Flock to Medivet Weymouth Garden Party for Grand Opening

Medivet Weymouth threw open its doors on 23 June 2019 to give visitors a much anticipated behind-the-scenes glimpse of its newly refurbished practice.

Sunday’s Garden Party was formally opened by guest of honour and nonagenarian former owner David Ball. As well as drinks, games and fun activities - inside and out - visitors were lucky enough to take away a voucher for a free pet consultation at the practice.

The branch is one of the first in the country to roll out a brand new look for Medivet group, which better reflects the exceptional quality of care offered to pets and their owners.

We have used the Weymouth branch twice now while we are at our Caravan and our home vet is closed due to staff shortages. Both times we have been very impressed with the professionalism , the friendly ness and how at ease they make the dogs feel. Highly recommend this practice. All the staff are great. Thankyou so much

After a very bad experience at our previous vets we are so so happy with the service we get at medivet. The prices are reasonable, the staff are very friendly and genuinely have passion for what they're doing and more importantly we feel our pets really are valued and important to the practice.

I brougt my dog in at very short notice as he had become acutely unwell. Not eating drinking and extremely lethargic . No wags and ears down with sad eyes. He's a 5yr old playful happy boy normally. I was welcomed by Alex the vet who expressed some concern also. We carried him in and I sadly left him behind for blood tests. Fluids. Pain relief and antibiotics. I have several phone calls during the afternoon for Alex himself informing me of progress, which reassured me. I collected him that evening and he is much better. Big thanks guys x

It was our first visit to the practice and everyone was very friendly and helpful and the consultation prices are much more reasonable than another local vet.

The vet took a lot of time to talk and discuss my dog's situation. She was knowledgeable and was friendly. She took her time to tell me what vets generally recommend with diet, for example.
