I was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica and graduated from the university of the West Indies in 2008. I was introduced to animals from an early age on my family's farm, where I grew to appreciate farm animals and later volunteered at various clinics in my high school years. I've worked throughout the Caribbean but moved to the UK to pursue a certification in diagnostic imaging. When I’m not working I enjoy swimming, scuba diving, martial arts and working the barbecue grill

I graduated in July 2019 and have worked in the veterinary industry since 2016. Prior to this I worked in a dog training centre. I've worked alongside fantastic orthopaedic vets and have a keen interest in physio and hydrotherapy, which I am looking at studying soon. Outside of work I love travelling and swimming. I have two rescue animals, a husky dog called Suki and a cat called Roxy.

I've been working in veterinary practices since 2016 and started as a receptionist. I love all animals, particularly dogs. I have a pack of six dogs of my own at home, Dixi, Dolly, Lexi, Binky, Alfie and Eddie, and call them my 'little herd'.

Prior to nursing I've studied and graduated with a BSc Zoology degree and I'm very passionate about wild animal conservation, particularly large animals. When I'm fully qualified I hope to help conservation research projects around the world. I love to travel and enjoy being outdoors running, walking & camping. I also have my own beautiful cat called Maali.
