I have worked in the veterinary industry since 2009 and have been at Medivet since December 2016. I hold a certificate in Feline Behaviour and I have a particular interest in exotics and animal behaviour. Outside of work, I’m kept busy by my West Highland Terrier called Bailey, my Schnauzer called Lillie and Millie, Marvyn and Scarlett the cats.

I have worked in the industry since 2015, joining the Medivet Wimborne team in November 2016. I’m currently studying hard to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. At home, I have a Jack Russell Terrier called Jack who I love going for long walks with.

I am a four-and-a-half-year-old Border Collie and my job is to welcome all our clients and pets into practice. I used to work at Medivet Cheltenham but moved to Wimborne to be by the sea; going to the beach is my favourite thing to do. I always lift the mood in practice with my bouncy and friendly behaviour.

This was our first visit since before lockdown. I was so pleased with the safety precautions and social distancing that was in place. Staff were friendly and explained clearly and concisely what to expect at the visit. Payment was taken after the appointment over the phone. After the appointment the vet brought my cat back to my car where I had waited and despite the heavy rainfall he took time to explain the treatment given. Great service- I would highly recommend medivet Wimborne to other pet owners in our area. Many thanks.

Mary and Ane always have been helpful, explained all procedures, and prescribed the right treatment to my cats. I am grateful for their care and kind attitude.

We were with Burrows and Burrows from the day we brought our two daschunds home and were concerned about the change to a more corporate experience. Our fears were totally unfounded . Our 15 year old “boy” Max developed cancer in his front paw and we really believed his days were numbered. However after discussions with Mary the surgeon we decided to go ahead with removal of his leg as it was already showing signs of gangrene. It was not an easy decision but great care was taken to check out his general health and blood tests were taken before the operation . He came through the op with flying colours and just one day after he took his first steps on three legs. Throughout the experience the whole team was understanding of our fears and were really supportive. Thanks to them we now have our stubborn but loving “boy” back and each day he walks a little bit further. It is obvious in this surgery that all the team love their work and put the welfare of the animals they take care of first. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

We were previously with Burrows & Burrows and were a little apprehensive about staying after Medivet took over. Our concerns were completely unnecessary. Our 12yr old boxer cross had been diagnosed with Mast Cell tumours and needed an operation to remove them. Five in total. The care AND love she received from start to finish was exemplary. We were kept informed every step of the way. Special mention to the Vet Dawn who will be greatly missed as she goes on to pastures new. And to all the lovely nurses. Casey loves you all. Thank you, so much. For everything.

I have anxiety issues with new situations/people and, having seen John and Owain Burrows for nearly 25 years was anxious about the change in vets. However, nothing breaks the ice quicker than a cat who has a panic "accident" in his pet carrier in the waiting room!. We had taken our kitty for his annual booster/MOT. We saw Brad, the lead vet, and he couldn't have been nicer. He was patient and gentle with our kitty, cleaned him as best he could and also put this kitty's mummy at ease straight away with his friendliness and kindness. Kitty was traumatised at having let himself down so badly but his mummy came home with a great sense of relief and joy at the kindness and care shown to her boy. Very pleased with the standard of care and the way Brad dealt with my rather smelly cat. Would recommented this vet in a heartbeat!

Very professional and friendly staff .No complaints whatsoever in the way they dealt with us and Poppy. Can't ask for more. We had no problems with the previous vet but things are changing and moving forward all the time and we think you have to get used to changes .but we couldn't ask for a better service.
