As an orthopaedic surgeon I qualified as a vet in 2001 and joined the Easthampstead practice. I then moved to Wokingham in 2018 alongside Hayley Fordyce. I own two cats called Nightingale and Sooty, who were left outside the Easthampstead practice as kittens, as well as a tortoise called Mo. I met my wife at choir practice; my children now spend their time singing in the same choir.

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009, then cycled the famous Lands' End to John O’Groats route to raise funds for a volunteering trip to the Indian animal charity TOLFA. I then spent my first year in a Lincolnshire mixed practice, before switching to solely small animal work in Suffolk for 3 years. I then led a small practice in Bracknell for 6 years where I achieved my Certificate in Small Animal Medicine. I am now Branch Partner and Lead Vet for Medivet’s busy 24-hour Wokingham hospital, growing a team of skilled colleagues, forging trusting relationships with clients, and developing an advanced healthcare service for their pets. I enjoy exploring the British countryside with my wife and 2 daughters, and have Lily the Pets As Therapy Springador, Sprout the cat and Twix the guinea pig.

I am originally from Tenerife, Spain and I qualified there as a vet in 2019. As soon as I finished my studies I came to the UK, where I have been working hard on small animal medicine and surgery; which I love. I get the most enjoyment out of laparoscopic bitch spays, so I have decided to start my postgraduate certificate in Endoscopy and Endosurgery. I have two lovely tabby cats that live with my family in Spain. I love being in the UK and l always find time to discover beautiful places with my partner.

I’ve been a veterinary nurse for the best part of twenty years, but with Medivet only for the last year. I decided to leave day practice when I fell in love with critical care emergency work at night. I have a background in referral oncology nursing and completed two years at Fitzpatricks. In my spare time I love to take care of other peoples pets who aren’t unwell. It’s a totally different side to animal care and I really do love it

Friendly staff, take the animal's welfare into consideration and aim to ensure they're comfortable during visits and treatments. I was kept in the loop while my cat was in for a few days and appreciated the contact and support I had. Staff is always friendly and caring.

Every time we have gone to Medivet the entire team have been very friendly and empathetic yet professional. They provide thorough and easy to understand explanation of conditions and a balanced view of options available. Special thanks to Chris for his manner in delivering some bad news and the tricky operation on our pug-shitzu who is now recovering well and also to Selene (Crowthorne) who in the past, has helped us amazingly with our chickens. Front of staff are always so friendly, happy and welcoming also - I would not hesitate to recommend Medivet.

Over the recent festive season I’ve been back & forth to Medivet Emergency vets in Wokingham with my poorly cat Louis.. sadly I had to have him put to sleep on the 6th January.. Without exception, myself and Louis have been treated with the utmost kindness and compassion by your reception staff, nursing staff and vets. Everything was explained to me at all points in his treatment. On the sad day I had to finally decide to end his life, your fabulous vet Chris explained my choices, he talked me through the whole process and made the whole experience calm and dignified. He was so kind and lovely to Louis and to me.. I can’t praise him enough. Thank you all ..
