I qualified as a vet in 2016 in Romania and worked there as a small animal vet for two years. In 2018 I decided to move to the UK to continue taking care of all furry babies. In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and cycling, but also enjoy relaxing with some cross stitching and cooking. My best friend Maus is a domestic short hair cat with sight issues, she was adopted from a Romanian village and travelled with me here. She is very spoiled and absolutely enjoys her indoor life, but also loves birdwatching in the garden.

I qualified from the University of Leon, Spain in 2017. Since then I've worked in small animal practices in Spain and started working for Medivet in 2018. I enjoy all aspects of being a small animal veterinary surgeon, but I have a particular interest in learning more about surgery. In my spare time I like to travel and explore the UK and Europe. At home I also have a basque shepherd dog called Logan and a guinea pig called Troja.

Saw Andy Buchan today with my dog who had an accident last night with his eye. Andy was so professional, friendly and thorough with his examination of Milo and very empathetic with him. Very impressed with the care Andy provided and he put my mind at ease as I was very worried about my elderly dog. Would highly recommend this practice and especially Andy Buchan.

It was my first time with our new puppy and when calling into register, a lovely lady on the phone was so helpful and i had a good chat and even a laugh with. We met with Andy who took good care of our puppy and explained everything really clearly (despite the masks) that i needed to know. It felt very welcoming despite the current circumstances and so glad i have registered our fur baby with Medivet in Wool. I have even told my parents who are thinking of registering their dog there too.

After a year of downward spirals, incredible weight loss, and immense tiredness for life. Following his 17th birthday on 17/07/20, my soul mate let me know he was ready to go. Originally rescued from Paisley near Glasgow as a 3 month old kitten, we’d moved 12 times, ending up in Dorset. I knew his time was coming, and asked him to reach his 17th birthday, and if he was done then he could go. Longing for him to pass on in his sleep didn’t happen, and his daily struggles became so incredibly apparent it was heartbreaking. I am indebted to Medivet at Wool. Wrought with fear of not being with my Boy because of Covid-19 was something I couldn’t bear. I am incredibly grateful that with all the correct safeguards in place, my Boy was allowed to slip away in the garden at home. The staff were amazing, kind and compassionate. Life isn’t the same, he was more than a cat. I was blessed at 23 to have him fall in my lap, at 40, I’ve lost the main companion I’ve ever had.

From reception to seeing a vet is always a positive experience. I always know that my animals are given the best care possible and they always improve with the treatment given. I also love how empathic everyone is, I have two anxious pets and their anxiety is always taken into account even without me asking.

Covid-19 pandemic and answered my email and questions promptly and informatively. When we needed your help recently you got Farley in on the same day and with the same vet who knew Farley's history. Your treatment was excellent and reassuring and I have every confidence it will continue to do so. Also despite it not being my number one priority the price of Farley's treatment has been extremely reasonable and competitive to other vets in the area who some of my friends deal with. Well done to all at Wool Medivets, I have been using your practice for over seventeen years including my previous dog as well and have never had a complaint, I have always had every confidence with the whole team and know that if I have to leave Farley at the practice for treatment, I am leaving him in great hands.
