Much more honest thn Vets4pets in Charlton. Reason for low rating is that they do not answer the phone hence booking can be a big challenge.

Been a client for a year, service was great but since 2nd Jan 2024, the practice seemed closed? Called a few times for booking but no one answered, no update on website or any email notification if it’s closed permanently or what, please let me know, thanks

Super lovely and friendly vet surgeons, but the receptionist needs another course on how to interact with people/clients. People pay a LOT of money to get their pets seen to, the least she can do is not make them wait outside for 10 minutes while she is on the phone and then make them wait for ages again.

I highly recommend this vet because of the care they have put on my pets! The vets were very thorough and definitely feel safe to leave my pets in their hands. Only negative i would say is it was not the easiest to book as i had to call in a few times. I could see that the administrative systems they have in place are quite outdated. Including registering my pets was a faff.

I had brought my dog in for his annual check up and boosters. As always we were greeted at reception and made to feel welcome whilst we waited to be seen. We’ve been registered with MediVet Woolwich for the past seven years and have been attended to by different vets every year, all of whom were professional and competent. This year, the vet, Bishani Wickrama, was exceptional! In addition to getting his boosters, I’d asked if she would also check out some lumps my dog recently developed. Bishani explained what she would be doing clearly and handled my nervous rescue dog with compassion and empathy. As a result, she was able to take biopsies from the lumps without causing him too much distress. If ever my dog needed treatment in the future, I would very much hope that it would be Bishani who would be attending to him.

Since attending the practice I have seen two clinicians, 4 weeks apart, both of which have provided conflicting accounts and opinions on our cats health. I sincerely dislike the first vet whom showed a real lack of any communication skills and seemed disingenuous from the get go. Her entire approach and attitude when conducting the appointment was hurtful, and it seems that the medical advice we were given by her, was incorrect. -- Saying this, I had attended an appointment with Dr Bashani yesterday (a different vet to whom we first were seen by), and couldn't be happier. Her attitude and care for our pet was very sincere, and she was incredibly helpful in recommending various products, new routines etc for the benefit of our cat. I also became aware that the previous medical advice given to me by the last clinician was incorrect, maliciously so. Overall, I think that it is a hit and miss choosing this practice for your pets care - however, if you are considering so, it is definitely worthwhile requesting Dr Bashani.

Lovely Staff , not long transferred my kitten who is nearly one to them from vets4pets . If it wasn’t for Medivet I wouldn’t knew my cat had a eye ucler now it’s better . I would recommend medivet to anyone
