Our aim at Medivet is to provide you with the opportunity to begin your veterinary profession in an entry role, with the view to becoming a qualified veterinary nurse.
We are able to achieve this via our work-based learning course. This is where students work in practice to gain valuable experience, whilst at the same time attend our dedicated training college once a week. We have found that both of these elements together create the perfect balance for veterinary nurse training.
Our veterinary nursing courses are awarded by City & Guilds, and accredited by the RCVS, showing they are of the very highest standard. Our committed, dedicated and experienced teaching staff aim to give you the very best education and training opportunities within the veterinary profession.
“I gained the knowledge and skills to work competently as a veterinary nurse”
“Staff are very helpful and friendly”
“Lots of different styles of learning throughout the course which applied to everyone”
“Without all of the amazing support from the MTC staff, I would never have achieved this qualification. They all do an amazing job and I’ll always be thankful!”
In order to enrol onto our veterinary nursing course, you must be employed as a patient care assistant by Medivet. If you have the necessary qualifications and are aged 18 or over, please take a look at our current vacancies webpage.
Alternatively, you can send your CV along with a covering letter and your preferred locations to the recruitment team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Don’t worry, you can still be a student veterinary nurse with us.
We will train you at one of our veterinary practices and you can study at a local supporting college near you, instead of at our Medivet Training College.
