We have nine 24-hour centres (hubs) located all around the UK which are always open and which boast state-of-the-art facilities.
In addition to our ‘hubs’, we have a large integrated network of over 140 smaller veterinary practices, also known as ‘spokes’. While they are not open 24 hours a day, each feed into one of our 24-hour centres. There are some practices that do not have a Medivet 24-hour centre near them just yet, so they use an external veterinary practice for your out-of-hour needs.
This model is really helpful because it means there is always someone to look after your pet or deal with your emergency.
We’re a big family of veterinary professionals, which means we can internally refer any case to a practice that is best equipped to deal with it. With our huge network of knowledge and experience, there is always someone on hand to look after unusual or specialist cases.
We can maximise the continuity of care through our purpose-built practice management system, Freedom.
Freedom stores yours and your pet’s details along with comprehensive notes. This means that whichever practice you visit, our vets will immediately have a clear understanding of your pet’s medical history, current medications, and any plans for their ongoing care. These records are updated across the group every two minutes.
