Become a Branch Partner in an existing practice

Are you an ambitious vet looking for your next step?

Become a Branch Partner with Medivet.

Becoming a Branch Partner in an existing Medivet practice gives you the opportunity to own part of your own clinic, with complete clinical freedom and unrivalled support from the wider Medivet network.

By taking a joint stake in one of our branches (also known as joint equity), you’re able to own and run part of a business with reduced risk, extra support and at a price you can afford.

Not only will you reap higher rewards for success, both clinically and financially, but you’ll also gain a greater sense of responsibility and independence, with a better work/life balance and more opportunities to follow your own path.

With your self-determination and our proven track record of success, you’ll have the opportunity to earn more, do more and progress your career to the next step.

I didn’t have much managerial experience but feel supported and helped by Medivet – my personal development is as important to Medivet as it is to me and has really enabled me to further my own development

Partnership Benefits

We want you to focus on what you do best: treating and caring for your clients and their pets. That’s why, as a Branch Partner, you’ll have complete clinical freedom in all aspects of your practice. Our community is built on trust, and you’ll always decide the best way to care for your patients in a way that suits them.

Should you ever need it, our Clinical Committee is always there to offer their expertise and support.

The smallest Medivet clinic can function as a large hospital, simply by using our unique hub-and-spoke model to its full potential.

Our growing number of 24-hour centres – or any other Medivet branches – should be seen just like another room in your clinic, regardless of how far away they may be. This means that almost every branch in Medivet has the resources, the skills and the ability to perform just as a large hospital would.

You can also take advantage of other vets’ skills and technologies throughout the group, allowing you to take on more complex cases and provide more advanced treatments that an independent vet would struggle with.

Many vets dream of owning their own practice, but the costs and lack of support that come with independent ownership can make it unachievable. By partnering with Medivet, you can take full charge of a clinic, your clients and your staff with unrivalled support and at a price you can afford.

We also actively encourage career development and, as a Branch Partner, you’ll have even more opportunities to further your clinical and business skills. Whether you want to pursue a specialism, learn new techniques or play a key role in shaping Medivet’s business decisions, we’ll fully support your professional development.

We believe two are better than one. We work with you to provide expertise and support that simply isn’t available to an independent practice.

Unlike a franchise model, we don’t just provide a service. We focus on combining our strengths and working together to help your practice succeed.

As well as skilled marketing and accountancy backing, you’ll also have access to better technology and the latest systems. By being part of the Medivet community, you’ll also take advantage of our increased buying power to economise the way you equip your practice.

By working together, we can ensure you have all the tools and advice you need to run a successful business. It’s a genuine sharing of costs, profits and, ultimately, success.
