As an orthopaedic surgeon and an advanced practitioner in small animal surgery, I qualified as a vet in 2001 and joined the Easthampstead practice. I then moved to Wokingham in 2018 alongside Hayley Fordyce. I own two cats called Nightingale and Sooty, who were left outside the Easthampstead practice as kittens, as well as a tortoise called Mo. I met my wife at choir practice; my children now spend their time singing in the same choir.

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009 and worked in mixed animal practice before focusing on dogs and cats. I joined in 2014 and I enjoy all aspects of medicine and surgery. I believe in an evidence-based approach to my work and I’m particularly passionate about helping elderly cats. I’m currently studying for a postgraduate certificate in Small Animal Medicine. At home, I have a very active Springador called Lily and four guinea pigs that help mow the lawn.

Reception staff are very helpful and informative. Vets are very kind and understanding of the current situation we are all in. I called the surgery with a concern took my pet back, it was as if it was no trouble even if I was being over cautious. I would highly recommend.

I have to take 5 minutes to comment on Tracey, a Customer Care Assistant here. I had to phone this morning to arrange appointments for an assessment and probable surgery for my young dog’s cruciate ligament tear. It has been a difficult year for me, caring for my terminally ill husband and this injury was just the final straw! I’m afraid I lost it on the phone but Tracey could not have been more empathetic and helpful. She gave me the time I needed to collect myself, co-operated 100% with trying to arrange appointments that didn’t clash with my husband’s, talked to the vet about pain relief and then sent me a comprehensive e-Mail detailing everything we’d agreed. A true asset to the Vet Practice, I hope she knows how much I appreciated her kindness and professionalism.

Always friendly and caring towards our fur babies. We've been with the practice for 15 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Totally trust Kristina before then it was Jo. Jo helped me through the most difficult time in July 2019 when we lost Harvey. Cannot fault the service, compassion and care. 10 out of 10. Sandra Warwick. X
