As an orthopaedic surgeon and an advanced practitioner in small animal surgery, I qualified as a vet in 2001 and joined the Easthampstead practice. I then moved to Wokingham in 2018 alongside Hayley Fordyce. I own two cats called Nightingale and Sooty, who were left outside the Easthampstead practice as kittens, as well as a tortoise called Mo. I met my wife at choir practice; my children now spend their time singing in the same choir.

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009 and worked in mixed animal practice before focusing on dogs and cats. I joined in 2014 and I enjoy all aspects of medicine and surgery. I believe in an evidence-based approach to my work and I’m particularly passionate about helping elderly cats. I’m currently studying for a postgraduate certificate in Small Animal Medicine. At home, I have a very active Springador called Lily and four guinea pigs that help mow the lawn.

I was given good advice by reception when I booked in my cat. I was able to get an appointment that day and the appointment took around 5 mins. It was reasonably priced. Everyone is friendly and helpful at Medivet.

I thought my visit was excellent, he was very caring towards my dog and checked her outside so I could stay with her. He checked her for what we had gone for and asked if anything else he should know. He took time and explained everything to me. Receptionist was also excellent and talked to my dog and was very polite and friendly. All followed social distances and ppe. Very happy with my visit

my pet wasn't registered with you guys and we had an emergency. it's the willingness of immediately help assessing the situation, taking in my pet from the nurse who picked up the phone that made us felt a bit more comfortable. When we arrived the clinic, the vet was really helpful and we can tell he really treated all animals with love and passion. Thank you and please keep up the good work!

We had to come in an emergency OOH appointment at 4am as our dog's back legs had suddenly stopped working and she seemed to be having a seizure or something however, our dog seemed to be a lot better on arrival and I was worried they'd think it was a waste of time- thankfully they spent about 40 minutes with her and were really thorough. I felt like my dog was very well looked after and checked over considering such early hours.

Every member of staff I spoke to was very supportive and understanding in a situation which was obviously stressful for myself. I had the utmost confidence in their assessment of the situation, the way they dealt with it so quickly, and the aftercare they provided.
