This was our first visit and Gizmo our cat was very poorly. The staff were friendly and professional and the clinic spotless. James took time to talk with me to get a clear idea of the problem - took care of Gizmo and prescribed a medication which has had good results. Gizmo has an ongoing problem and I am confident James and the team will be able to care for him so we can manage his symptoms well. It was also very good value for money. Thank you Barnes Medivet

Been unable to reach my medical centre, I resorted to calling another branch. I managed to get through to Tony at the Barnes branch who could not be more helpful in resolving all of our issues. Great service!

My dog was poorly, I got seen very quickly. The staff were friendly and reassuring. My dog needed hospitalisation over night. The bill was big but the vet clinic deals with insurance directly so I didn’t have to worry about it. Thank you Medivet Barnes.

James is fantastic. He is always on time, thorough, friendly and seems to know what he is doing. The front shop floor staff have gone down hill a lot. To me they are quite arrogant and don’t really care. Final straw was their lack of care/sloppiness regarding travel to Denmark when I asked them to look at my two dogs passport. I ended up having to pay for a new tunnel ticket at £200 because one of the passports had run out of space so the vet in Denmark had to stamp it the wrong place which borderline control nearly didn’t accept. I got a letter of exception, but the time spent at the border control because of this meant we missed the tunnel transfer we had booked and I had to buy a new ticket. With proper effort from the Medivet staff when I asked them to check the passport this wouldn’t have happened.

James is the best vet ever, I recommend him at every opportunity I get. Took my previous dog to Medicare Barnes when we moved to the UK 10 years ago, after finding closer vets in Chiswick and Notting Hill to be somewhat elitist about my then ageing mixed breed. Visited a number of other vets in my search as well and finally found Medivet Barnes. Been going there ever since. Excellent practice - cannot recommend them enough.

We have been coming to this vet practice for several years for a variety of issues for our dog (e.g. regular, annual vaccinations; having his anal glands emptied; checking out a suspicious lump in his leg that required a biopsy; severe diarrhoea). The vet (James) has always kept us informed. He has a pleasant manner and has treated our dog with a high level of care and kindness. Thank you!

James is a great vet - kind experienced and sensible. Other staff friendly and helpful. Only issue is parking in Barnes and having to carry a heavy cat in cat box.
