I qualified in 2002 in South Africa and spent the next 15 years working with the country’s small and large animals. I then moved to the UK in 2015 and have worked at Medivet ever since, taking over the Portland clinic in 2018. I love sport and enjoy spending time as a busy wife and mum to three children. I have a German Shepherd called Zulka, a Border Terrier called Sam and two cats called Ruby and Jessie.

I joined the Portland practice five months ago as a Patient Care Assistant and I love to care for all animals. I previously studied Animal Care at Kingston Maurward College and worked with the RSPCA; I also work alongside my mum at her wildlife rescue centre. I have many animals at home, including a Labrador called Blossom, a Bulldog called Gilbert, a Border Terrier called Lily and two crossbreeds called Little and Stripes. I also have reptiles, poultry and small mammals.

Our dog Harry had an awful and obviously very painful ear infection, on attending an appointment in Easton everybody was so kind and helpful, needless to say Tina sorted him out and he's well on the road to recovery. Many thanks to you all😘

I’m always very happy with the service and excellent level of care. But during the lockdown, Tina and the whole team have gone the extra mile. I had a video consultation this morning and later my dogs medication was delivered to my door. Thank you and hoping you all stay safe and well.

Vets are first class - they care and are knowledgeable with a desire to inform clearly and generally seem willing to ensure that treatment is appropriate but with cost kept to a reasonable level - if possible! Admin support is good but does not always live up to the vets high standard

Great service from registration to getting an appointment, and vet extremely knowledgable with diagnosis of our budgies ailments. The cost of appointment and antibiotic very reasonable too.

From the wonderful Vet Tine, who was so kind and supportive when we had to have our beloved dog put to sleep; to the friendly receptionist Naomi who plays with our new puppies. We can not fault Medivet Portland. The Nurses are lovely but mainly Tine the Vet is exceptional.

All the staff at the Portland branch care so much about the animals and owners, it is obvious the moment u walk in, the friendly, caring reception from the vetinary nurses, through to the consultants. Tine the vet was so brilliant with my Ernie, a 16 year old budgie. She was kind, gentle and very concerned about him, which was a pleasure to see!! Thank you to all the staff at Medivets, Portland, u made a big difference to a very small budgie!!

Benji has had first class treatment over Christmas and although it’s a traumatic experience, Tina, Holly and the team at Medivet Portland have been excellent so far and hopefully Benji will have the drain removed next Monday and the trauma will be over. Thanks and Merry Christmas
