Luis Pereira

Lead Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified at Porto University in Portugal in 2015. I've recently joined Medivet after more than four years experience as a vet in the UK. I'm really looking forward to working with the team at our new practice. My main professional interests are surgery and imaging. Outside of work, I have a female golden retriever called Luna. In my spare time I love spending my time with my family, and travel a lot.

I qualified in Poland in February 2019. I joined the Medivet Graduate Development Programme in April 2019 and am now a mobile vet covering Medivet clinics in the St Ives area. I'm really happy to be the part of this branch. At home in Poland I have a cat called Florian, who I miss every day. In my free time, I love baking, listening to jazz music and reading.

I joined Medivet with the opening of the Bedford Clapham practice. I've completed a two year course at Shuttleworth College studying Animal Management with Science Level Three, and used to work on a farm. At home I have three working cocker spaniels, Ella, Lola and Willow, and one yorkie cross jack russell, Roxy. In my spare time I love to travel - my favourite place to go is Australia.

Practice Coordinator and Student Veterinary Nurse

I'm due to qualify as a nurse this year after three years of study. I hope to continue my study and undertake a certificate in anaesthesia in the future. I've been working in the veterinary field for five years and am very excited to be part of this new branch. At home I have a labradoodle called 'Carrig' which is irish for rock, as he is always my rock to lean on. I enjoy drawing in my spare time and finding new places to explore with my dog.
