Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I initially qualified from Bristol University in 2002 and worked in the Lancashire and Henley areas before moving to Bracknell Easthampstead in 2004. I then became a Branch Partner in 2011. I enjoy spending time with my three children, Lola, Simone and Reuben, and training in Brazilian jujitsu. I also help my children look after their three pet rats, Dobby, Bagel and Fuzzy.

I joined Bracknell Easthampstead in November 2018 and I have a special interest in internal and emergency medicine. I initially qualified as a vet in Austria in June 2018. In my downtime, I love to spend time with my two dogs, Foster and Chelsea.

I qualified as a veterinary nurse three years ago after joining the team in November 2011. As well as holding a diploma in Animal Management, I have a keen interest in dog behaviour. In addition to caring for our patients, I look after my own rescue dog; a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross called Poppi.

I started in September 2015 and I’m about to finish my training to become a fully-fledged veterinary nurse. Before turning my attention to veterinary medicine, I graduated from Portsmouth University with a degree in Sociology. I particularly enjoy dog behaviour and training. At home, I’m kept busy by my seven-month-old Golden Retriever called Saffie.

Kynoch in Easthampstead has been my vet for nearly 20 years. The vets always have plenty of time to spend with my cats. They take the time to explain thoroughly what is wrong and how they are treating the problem. They also explain what you need to do at home and reassure you that you can bring the pet in immediately if you are worried. They always check the cats thoroughly and put my mind at rest. All the practice vets are knowledgeable and very patient with my cats. I can highly recommend this pratice.

Always an EXCEPTIONAL service provided. Staff are superb - empathetic, kind, friendly, calm, patient etc. Any advice given is gently and respectfully put forward in the best interest of BOTH pets and owners. Any checks/procedures are done in the same way, you never feel ‘rushed’. Going ‘out of their way’ to assist you and to make visits as smooth and pleasant as possible is never a problem - being the owner of a dog with fear-anxiety this certainly helps! They’re always happy to discuss alternatives, including things recommended by their own and others personal experiences, even if that means using services/products not even provided by them. You never feel ‘forced’ into doing/getting anything and they respect your final wishes without pushing further. I’ve used this vet practice for over 10 years now and they’ve earnt my trust and respect 100%. We’ve shared much laughter and a few tears (Rainbow Bridge). I look forward to continuing such a positive relationship with this vet practice in the future - keep up the good work!
