I have been working as a vet continuously since I qualified in 1996. I have been a partner of Medivet since 2010. In 2017 I was awarded a General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Medicine. In my family we have always loved pets both dogs and cats. I deeply enjoy my role caring for my clients and their pets.

I qualified in 2014 at Utrecht University in Holland, where I grew up. I joined Medivet not long after as a resident in the South-West London area. After this period I floated in the Watford area before I became a lead vet at Medivet Redbourn Bridge House. After a couple of years I joined the lovely team at the Hemel Hempstead Marlowes practice. I have achieved a post-graduate certificate in Dermatology in 2021. I know personally how much our pets are part of the family as I grew up with them. I have my Ragdoll cat Snowie living back at home with my parents. I have recently rescued the sweetest British Shorthair cat named Barnaby who is living with me here.

Very easy to deal with and very understanding of my pet's issues. Able to get him looked at very quickly, everything explained in detail as to what was needed, what was actually done and medications recommended.

So post COVID I had a very nervous dog of going to the vets and some days it was a real struggle to get her through the door. Once lockdown hit and we were not allowed to go in to the vets I became very anxious and worried about sending her but she became fairly ill with a big ear infection so she had to go in a lot. The nurses and vet were very helpful and reassuring and when she had to stay for the day they updated me throughout her day. My dog formed a special friendship with one of the nurses so they sent me pictures of them having cuddles while she was there. Now that we can go in to the vets again I was worried about the waiting room as my dog does not like other dogs but they work around that and I can see that the nurses and vets have worked hard with her when she was last in as she was so excited to see them all and was pulling me through the door (not the other way around). I really do recommend these vets. Everyone in the practice is friendly and professional (even when I do ask silly questions or worry too much)

Staff are excellent - friendly yet very professional. I think my two dogs and cat receive first class treatment which is appropriate to their needs. I would not take them anywhere else for veterinary treatment.
