Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I started at Oxted in 2014 and loved it so much that I became Branch Partner in 2015. I love the bright, spacious clinic, my hard-working team and, of course, all our amazing clients. I initially qualified in Dublin in 1987 but I’ve lived in the south east ever since then. I have a strong interest in behaviour and holistic care. My terrier Lyka is now 15 years old and comes in to work with me every day. I also have a cat called Lily who’s more than happy to stay at home.

I gained my vet qualification from the University of Nottingham in 2016 and returned to Surrey in 2018. I then decided to join the Medivet team. I’m now studying towards a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice. I’m a big animal lover; I currently have a cat called Nadine and two miniature Rex rabbits called Gin and Rose.

I’ve been at the practice for around six years, but I’ve worked with animals since I was a teenager. I studied wildlife conservation at university and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse from the Medivet Training College in 2018. I’ve also spent time working in rescue centres. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pets at the moment, but I do love old cats.

I joined Medivet in October 2017 and I currently spend my time between four different practices. Before this, I worked in the events industry and the move to work with animals has been the best decision of my life. I’m starting college to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse this year. Sadly I don’t have any pets right now, but I’ve had many family dogs throughout my life.

I’ve been working with Medivet for three years and I’m currently in my final year of study before qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Once qualified, I would love to pursue my dream of working with big cats. We have always owned Golden Retrievers and our most recent two are rescues from Europe.

I’ve been at Medivet for four years and I’ve nearly completed my training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I previously earned a degree in Photography, but after working at a rescue centre, I decided to pursue a career with animals instead. My family always had a passion for rescuing rabbits while I was growing up. I currently have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Bow.

I have lived locally for 20 years and I used to run a beauty therapy business before becoming a full-time mum to my twin boys. I then joined Medivet Oxted in 2012 and find it a fantastic place to work. At home, I have a dog, three cats and three children to keep me busy.

I’ve worked in the Oxted practice for four years and I enjoy working as part of a small, friendly team. My background is in advertising and media, but four years ago I decided to move into the veterinary field and I’ve never looked back. I currently have a small zoo at home, including cats, dogs, budgies, rabbits and my son’s macaw called Frank.

The service has always been fantastic and relaxed with woody, Paul has always given him time to feel comfortable before treatment is given. Allow him off the lead to sniff around the room whilst we talk always helps.

This was an emergency appointment as my dog was showing signs of being in a lot of pain, so much so that she did not want to get up or get into my car. I was away on holiday at the time but was allowed an appointment immediately. An examination was carried out and I was given two options in terms of treatment. I opted for the pain relief / anti inflammatory as opposed to the x-ray which has seen us through the week with no issues. An explanation was given to me as to what could have been or is the problem for which I was advised on a course of action. Very pleased with the service and outcome.

I don't actually have the words to describe how happy it made me to see my 10 year old collie relaxed at the vets for the first time ever.

My bunny, Boo, had abscesses in his cheek and after one abscess filled up again after his first surgery at Medivet in Oxted he was referred to Medivet Faygate. Nicole at Oxted took Boo to Faygate herself. Boo has a large wound but is remarkably lively considering what he’s been through. I can’t thank Nicole enough for taking such good care of my little boy and for organising the best treatment and care for him. Nicole is so friendly and very knowledgeable and able to keep me calm when I’ve been worried about my Boo.

Managed to see someone on the day I phoned. The lady on the phone/reception was really friendly and most helpful. Also the vet I saw, was great with my cat who is not the most easiest to treat at the best of times..
