I started at Oxted in 2014 and loved it so much that I became Branch Partner in 2015. I love the bright, spacious clinic, my hard-working team and, of course, all our amazing clients. I initially qualified in Dublin in 1987 but I’ve lived in the south east ever since then. I have a strong interest in behaviour and holistic care. My terrier Lyka is now 15 years old and comes in to work with me every day. I also have a cat called Lily who’s more than happy to stay at home.

I’ve been at the practice for around six years, but I’ve worked with animals since I was a teenager. I studied wildlife conservation at university and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse from the Medivet Training College in 2018. I’ve also spent time working in rescue centres. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pets at the moment, but I do love old cats.

I’ve been working with Medivet for three years and I’m currently in my final year of study before qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Once qualified, I would love to pursue my dream of working with big cats. We have always owned Golden Retrievers and our most recent two are rescues from Europe.

I have lived locally for 20 years and I used to run a beauty therapy business before becoming a full-time mum to my twin boys. I then joined Medivet Oxted in 2012 and find it a fantastic place to work. At home, I have a dog, three cats and three children to keep me busy.

I’ve worked in the Oxted practice for four years and I enjoy working as part of a small, friendly team. My background is in advertising and media, but four years ago I decided to move into the veterinary field and I’ve never looked back. I currently have a small zoo at home, including cats, dogs, budgies, rabbits and my son’s macaw called Frank.

We've seen two vets at this practice in the past three weeks and both have been excellent - really friendly, professional and demonstrated a genuine affection and interest in our puppy. They gave really helpful advice and I felt totally confident and reassured by them. Great service, thank you.

The measures in place were second to none & everything was explained prior to my appointment what was expected. I felt that my pet was getting the best treatment & the vet explaining the diagnosis & treatment on the phone before my pet was back in my care elevated my stress. Superb attention to details & certainly puts an owner fears to rest. Cannot praise them enough & would highly recommend.

I took my rescue puppy for a routine check up after her long and stressful journey from Cyprus, my puppy was quite nervous around the vet (I think this is a man thing! :) ) but Paul did an excellent job of putting her at ease. She was literally eating out of his hand by the time we left. He answered all of my questions and I left feeling confident that I had chosen the right care and vet for my puppy.

The service has always been fantastic and relaxed with woody, Paul has always given him time to feel comfortable before treatment is given. Allow him off the lead to sniff around the room whilst we talk always helps.

This was an emergency appointment as my dog was showing signs of being in a lot of pain, so much so that she did not want to get up or get into my car. I was away on holiday at the time but was allowed an appointment immediately. An examination was carried out and I was given two options in terms of treatment. I opted for the pain relief / anti inflammatory as opposed to the x-ray which has seen us through the week with no issues. An explanation was given to me as to what could have been or is the problem for which I was advised on a course of action. Very pleased with the service and outcome.

My bunny, Boo, had abscesses in his cheek and after one abscess filled up again after his first surgery at Medivet in Oxted he was referred to Medivet Faygate. Nicole at Oxted took Boo to Faygate herself. Boo has a large wound but is remarkably lively considering what he’s been through. I can’t thank Nicole enough for taking such good care of my little boy and for organising the best treatment and care for him. Nicole is so friendly and very knowledgeable and able to keep me calm when I’ve been worried about my Boo.
