Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified in South Africa in 1995 before moving to the area and working as a dedicated small animal vet in North West London for 23 years. I have a general practitioner certificate in Feline Practice and I have a special interest in rehabilitative medicine, including acupuncture. I’m currently working on new, advanced techniques in stem cell and other restorative therapies. At home I have a rescue crossbreed called Todd, two rescue cats called Madiba and Touché and a hamster called Bibi.

Head Veterinary Nurse

I became a Registered Veterinary Nurse in South Africa in 2009 and worked in a mixed practice before moving to London in 2012 to work on small animals. I’ve owned a few exotic pets in the past, including a tarantula and a snake, so I have a particular interest in exotics care. I’m currently studying engineering in my spare time and I hope to combine my knowledge of nursing and engineering once I qualify. I have a three-legged rescue cat called Shamrock and a Green Cheek Conure called Zazu that lives in practice during the week.

Veterinary Nurse

I originally started my nursing career as a Patient Care Assistant at Medivet Enfield in 1998 before qualifying in 2014. I’ve also had experience in charity organisations such as the Blue Cross and RSPCA. I particularly enjoy surgical nursing and anaesthesia. I have three rescue cats: Gracie (who I hand-reared as a kitten) Sam (who has a brain injury) and Pepe (who used to be a stray). In my free time, I love going to theme parks and pub quizzes.
