  • Your vet in Temple Fortune

Our brand new Medivet practice is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to provide exceptional care for you and your pets. Our experienced and devoted team will always be there with expert, personalised care and advice, whenever you need it.

  • Our services

We offer a broad range of services, from routine health checks, vaccinations, parasite control and nutritional support, to advanced diagnostic techniques like radiography, ultrasonography and CT and MRI scans. Our dedicated vets and nurses also carry out routine and complex surgeries, as well as other services such as acupuncture and dentistry.

  • Feline behaviour referrals

We offer a referral service for feline behavioural disorders to diagnose, treat and manage these complex cases. Our dedicated vet is experienced in all aspects of feline behavioural issues, including anxiety, inappropriate urination and relationships in multi cat households.

  • Acupuncture and rehabilitation

The use of Western Veterinary acupuncture in combination with conventional medicine can be very effective in the treatment plan for many musculoskeletal and other painful conditions. This approach uses fewer needles inserted directly into acupuncture and trigger points. Most importantly, acupuncture is extremely safe when practiced correctly and is well accepted by the majority of animals.

Justine Berger

Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified in South Africa in 1995 before moving to the area and working as a dedicated small animal vet in North West London for 23 years. I have a general practitioner certificate in Feline Practice and I have a special interest in rehabilitative medicine, including acupuncture. I’m currently working on new, advanced techniques in stem cell and other restorative therapies. At home I have a rescue crossbreed called Todd, two rescue cats called Madiba and Touché and a hamster called Bibi.

Head Veterinary Nurse

I became a Registered Veterinary Nurse in South Africa in 2009 and worked in a mixed practice before moving to London in 2012 to work on small animals. I’ve owned a few exotic pets in the past, including a tarantula and a snake, so I have a particular interest in exotics care. I’m currently studying engineering in my spare time and I hope to combine my knowledge of nursing and engineering once I qualify. I have a three-legged rescue cat called Shamrock and a Green Cheek Conure called Zazu that lives in practice during the week.

Veterinary Nurse

I originally started my nursing career as a Patient Care Assistant at Medivet Enfield in 1998 before qualifying in 2014. I’ve also had experience in charity organisations such as the Blue Cross and RSPCA. I particularly enjoy surgical nursing and anaesthesia. I have three rescue cats: Gracie (who I hand-reared as a kitten) Sam (who has a brain injury) and Pepe (who used to be a stray). In my free time, I love going to theme parks and pub quizzes.
