I qualified in 2013 from the University of Cambridge with degrees in Veterinary Medicine and Management Studies. Prior to joining the practice as an assistant in April 2015, I worked as a vet in both Berkshire and Surrey. I took on the role of Lead Vet in December 2017. My passion lies in surgery, both soft tissue and orthopaedic. As such, I am currently studying towards the completion of my postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Surgery). Outside of the practice, I enjoy playing squash, socialising with friends and family, and skiing when I can.

At home we have a very affectionate but greedy black labrador called Emie and one mischievous chocolate Burmese cat called Rolo. My hobbies include spending time with my family and pets, gardening with my wife Susan, cycling and swimming.

Medivet Wimbledon have amazing staff. David Kydd ( & previously his father) have been are only choice of vet practice. David employs such great vets, nurses & admin staff. OK, I know it’s not probably David personally in all appointments but the staff have the caring Kydd ethos. Caroline, who was Doris’ vet, went above and beyond, ferrying her to other Medivet practices to ensure she got the best treatment & care. That is a benefit of Medivet. There is a wider support system than a standalone vet. The love that the nursing staff show for all pets that come in is brilliant & the reception staff are always welcoming & helpful. Doris, who was over 13, sadly died a couple of weeks ago. Tomorrow we go to collect her & I know that whichever staff we see will be there with a box of tissues in hand for me & a hug.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful care our two year old dalmatian, Elmo, has had under David and the superb team at Kydd & Kydd! He recently underwent cruciate surgery (his second operation in less than a year); not only was David extremely thorough and careful in explaining the details of the operation, but he has gone on to follow Elmo up extremely closely to ensure his recovery is as smooth as possible. I have been amazed at how quickly our spotty boy has gone from strength to strength, and now would not take him anywhere else for treatment. This superb team care for each animal that comes through the door as if it were their own! Thank you!!

Thank you David Kydd for fitting us in this morning. Lola is doing better now. It is so difficult when they can't tell us what is wrong, and it appears to be nothing obvious…and things always seem to go wrong over a long bank holiday. Thankfully, you were open today. Your practice just stands out above other vets, as it is the continuity of the same vet seeing your dog, wins every time. If anyone is in doubt, David Kydd (and his team) are one of the best diagnostic vets around. Happy Easter!
